La sangre cuenta con tres grandes tipos de células:
- Glóbulos rojos o eritrocitos o hematíes.
- Glóbulos blancos o leucocitos, que tienen cinco tipos:
- Basófilos.
- Eosinófilos.
- Linfocitos (células T y células B).
- Monocitos.
- Neutrófilos.
- Plaquetas o trombocitos.
